For the fourth consecutive year, cookers from across the west converged in Worland for the Wyoming State BBQ Championship and Bluegrass festival. The cookers competed in seven different categories. Quiet Riot Barbecue took first in pulled pork and brisket. Prairie Oak Smokers took first in ribs. Pikeman BBQ took first in chicken. In the three specialty categories, Over The Coals took first in buffalo and lamb, while Big Hole BBQ took home first in sauce. Taking home Grand Champion honors was Quiet Riot and crowned Grand Reserve Champion was Utah Smoke. Above, 6-year-old Konnor Macy works his good tooth around a man-sized rib.
