    WORLAND – It has been over 50 years since Worland native and Vietnam veteran Alva R. Krogman, better known as Ray, disappeared over Laos, and in about a month, he will return to Worland for his final resting place. A member of the 504th Tactical Air Support Squadron, First Lieutenant Krogman was on a visual reconnaissance mission over Savannakhet Province, Laos on January 17, 1967.     WORLAND – There are two extra helpers at the University of Wyoming Extension Office this summer. AmeriCorps volunteer Landen Doyle and intern Dani Warner will be helping with 4-H activities, with the intent to broaden community outreach and offer mentorship to younger 4-H members.     WORLAND – Culturefest will be held in the back field of the Worland Community Center Complex June 19 from 9am-5pm.     WORLAND -On May 15, Washakie County Search and Rescue held its annual awards banquet catered by Chubby Cheeks BBQ to honor their Officer and Member of the Year.     WORLAND - Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is expanding its reach outside of the Big Horn Basin thanks to the hard work of Dan and Nancy Frederick alongside hundreds of local volunteers.
