WORLAND – The Green Hills Golf Course was bustling earlier this week as Worland played host to the 57th Annual Wyoming Senior Golfers’ Association Sunday through Tuesday. Sunday served as a practice round while the tournament took place on Monday and Tuesday. Worland’s Golf Pro Nick Nielsen said there were a total of 89 participants in the tournament, 18 of those representing Worland at their hometown golf course. WORLAND – Worland’s Cal Ripken 10-U baseball team found itself in a pickle over the weekend. The strong run at the end of the season that delivered Worland its second straight state championship a couple of weeks ago abruptly came to an end as the team competed in the 2015 Cal Ripken 10-U Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament held in West Linn, Oregon. WORLAND – For the second year in a row, Worland’s Cal Ripken 10-U baseball team will be representing Wyoming at the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament after winning the state tournament held in Worland last weekend.
