CASPER (AP) — The University of Wyoming will be hosting its first diversity workshops since hiring a new chief diversity officer last May. The Casper Star-Tribune reports that the workshops will be on Feb. 12-13. TEN SLEEP – During the Ten Sleep School Board meeting Monday evening, board members learned from Ten Sleep School Superintendent Jimmy Phelps that the committee was almost finished creating the policy and that the policy would be brought to the board for review during the February school board meeting. “I plan to have it on the February agenda for public input,” Phelps said. WORLAND — Now that school has started up again, so has speech and debate. This year, Worland High School coach Rick Dorn has about 30 students competing. Dorn said that some of the top returners from last year include Paris Caines and Rachael Carver, who are the reigning 3A cross-examination champs in Wyoming.
