    WORLAND - The Worland High School Drama Club is gearing up for its state competition next month by having an "Evening of One Acts" next week to showcase their state competition performances.     CODY (AP) — Officials in the city of Cody are moving ahead with a plan to kill 50 town-dwelling deer as a safety measure despite some community opposition. The Cody Enterprise reports City Council members voted Tuesday to have police sharpshooters cull the herd. The council told police Chief Chuck Baker to get a permit to harvest deer to prevent the destruction of private property and protect human health.     SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — The Netflix series “Longmire” will return to New Mexico to produce its sixth and final season. The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that Santa Fe Film Office Director Eric Witt says production on the 10-episode season will begin in March.     Jeannie Rosemarie Jeffers, 69 died on November 8, 2016 at the Billing Clinic after complications from a heart attack. Jeannie’s joys in life were her family, friends, gardening, crafts, the outdoors, and a good horse. Some of her best times were spent horseback. She passed this love on to her son, Troy. Fall and spring round up times have always brought fond memories of horses and family time.
