TEN SLEEP - It was a strange and trying week for the Ten Sleep Lady Pioneers basketball team. WORLAND – Many federal employees and employees of agencies which reside in federally owned buildings came to work Monday morning to commence shutdown activities and receive their furlough papers. WORLAND — The City of Worland’s three-phase “15th Street Project” will actually begin at Bower Avenue this week with the replacement of 700 feet of a water line. James (Jim) Orval Wages Sr., 73, formerly of Worland, Wyoming, passed away January 17, 2018 at Billings Medical Clinic. He had been life flighted from Powell, Wyoming, where he resided for the past 4 years. Jim passed from respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. Jim was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Harold E. Charles (Chuck) Edson Lewton was born September 23, 1937, to George Sr. and Berniece (Palmer) Lewton. As the eldest of five children, Chuck always felt great responsibility for his family. Whatever he put his hand to he worked diligently and was rewarded with God's blessings. He passed away January 14th in Lake Havasu City, AZ after many years of health problems.
