WORLAND - The town of Burlington, in the hopes of controlling the feral cat population, has created an ordinance which requires all cats within the town to be licensed and vaccinated for rabies by Feb. 1. According to the ordinance, “There is a problem with feral and unlicensed cats in the town of Burlington, thus leading to nuisances and health hazards.” The town is offering a free licensing day. “The free licensing day will be Thursday from 10 a.m. – noon. GILLETTE (AP) — A Canadian company that had proposed a rare earths mineral mine in northeastern Wyoming has suspended the project. The Gillette News Record reports that Vancouver, British Columbia-based Rare Element Resources has asked the U.S. Forest Service to suspend activities on the project, including all permitting and licensing efforts. GERMANTOWN, Wis. (AP) — Police in Germantown are looking for suspects after a trailer containing about $70,000 worth of cheese was stolen from a trucking company. Police say the trailer was taken early Friday from D&G Transportation. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the 54-foot-long trailer and the semi-tractor used to steal it were found Friday night in the Milwaukee area. The trailer was empty. Bunny received a call from her mother one year on July 13th wishing her a happy birthday. Bunny replied that her birthday was August 13, Not July.
