KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a female moose is safe after she fell through an unlatched window into the basement of an Idaho home. The Idaho Mountain Express reports that the moose spent about three hours in the Hailey basement early Sunday morning. WORLAND – Anthony Haire, a Worland man found guilty of manslaughter in December 2015 in the death of Jamye Don SoRelle, has filed an appeal with the Wyoming Supreme Court. Haire fatally shot SoRelle, 58, on the night of April 13, 2015, near their trailers on shared property located at 1459 U.S. 20 South. Haire originally told authorities that he shot SoRelle in self-defense, after Sorelle had fired in his direction. Haire pled not guilty when charged. She passed January 30, 2017 at the Worland Healthcare where she had been a resident for 5 years and will be remembered for her big beautiful smile In 1945 she married Ernest Bonnand in Bohas, France and they were married 63 years. In 1952 they immigrated to Canada, then to the U.S. in Illinois. From 1956-1987 they made a home in Southern California where they raised their family.
