WORLAND - It's hard to believe but the wrestling season is quickly approaching its finale and for the Worland Warrior wrestlers they're ready to finish strong. Last week Worland traveled to Riverton for the Ron Thon Memorial Invitational. WORLAND – Washakie County Commissioners met Tuesday, to hear a variety of county concerns from reporting agencies including on fire and sewer. Randy Chenoweth, with Washakie Road and Bridge, along with Worland Fire Protection District Chief and Washakie County Fire Warden Chris Kocher, addressed the need for new and renewed fire markers for rural residences in the county. CHEYENNE – A bill requiring large online retailers to collect sales tax on purchases made by Wyoming customers cleared a Senate committee Tuesday, meaning the bill will go to the full Senate for consideration. Senate Revenue Committee members voted unanimously to recommend approval of House Bill 19, which had already passed the House of Representatives.
