    A Tennessee school board sparked controversy last week by banning Art Spiegelman’s ‘Maus’, a graphic novel that tells Spiegelman’s father’s story surviving the Holocaust and Auschwitz, citing the book’s inappropriate language and “nudity.” Before last week, I had never heard of the book.     WORLAND – The Worland High School cheer and dance team brought home third place in the Class 3A hip hop portion of the State Spirit Competition at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper on Jan. 28. Worland scored 77.150 points, behind state champion Star Valley with 93.65 points and second-place Lovell with 77.98 points.     TEN SLEEP – At the Ten Sleep Town Council meeting Tuesday, Feb. 1, Justin Smith of Ten Sleep Brewery discussed an upcoming event would be an economic boost to the community this summer. The economic opportunity comes as a team of off-road motorcyclists who will be stopping overnight in Ten Sleep this summer on their 800- to 1,000-mile long route.
