    BASIN — The Riverside Academic Challenge team is coming off a busy week of competition. On Feb. 17 the team got up early and drove to Torrington to compete at Eastern Wyoming Community College in the last of the regular season meets. The two teams made up of juniors Matt Gesch, Adelle Stone and James DesRosier along with the freshman team of Haily Rivers, Skylar Tharp and Roger DesRosier did well with the freshman team coming in sixth and the juniors coming in third behind Evanston and Cheyenne East high schools.     Kudos to the Big Horn Basin legislators for banding together and getting Senate File 112 to study and work toward privatizing the Wyoming Retirement Center and Wyoming Pioneer Home killed. The legislators also worked to restore full biennium funding for the two facilities on both the Senate and House budget bills.     WORLAND - Wyoming Department of Transportation bridge inspectors will be conducting an inspection of the Culbertson bridge in Worland on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 28, and Thursday morning, March 1.     WORLAND — The Worland Board of Adjustment and Planning Commission approved the site plan review and landscaping plans for Bomgaars store at 3400 Big Horn Avenue during Thursday’s regular meeting. Worland Building official and zoning coordinator Nick Kruger reported to the BAPC that the plan includes a 35,800 square-foot building on a 209,000 square foot lot.
