The Lady Dogies ran a zone in an attempt to take away the Lady Warriors athleticism and slow down their offense. "They played in a zone that slowed the game down quite a bit," said WHS girls coach Ben Hofmann. "Offensively it didn't come as naturally and we didn't attack the zone like we wanted to. The game was slower paced because...

The Warriors took down the Dogies 57-46 and while the Warriors did not send the message to Newcastle that WHS boys basketball coach Aaron Abel had hoped for; there were still positives to gather from the game.
