    WORLAND — Worland Middle School had 41 students ready more than a million words during the first semester of the school year, Principal Ryan Clark announced at Monday’s Washakie County School District No. 1 Board meeting. Clark said reading is a focus at the middle school and the students increased the amount read from the first nine weeks to the second nine weeks.     CHEYENNE — A bill to allow school district employees to have firearms on school property passed a final hurdle before heading to the governor’s desk. House Bill 194 passed third reading in the House Feb. 1 on a 46-14 vote. It was passed in the Senate 28-2 on third reading Feb. 27 with amendments.     NEW YORK (AP) — President Donald Trump’s first major address to the Congress and the nation was seen by an estimated 47.4 million people. The Nielsen company said Wednesday that Trump’s audience couldn’t quite match the first such speech by predecessor Barack Obama, who drew an audience of 52.4 million in 2009.
