    WORLAND - The Worland Warrior swimming season ended on Feb. 16 with the 3A State meet in Laramie. While the Warriors had a total of eight athletes competing this season, they were a strong eight.     LANDER - The family of Bob Carey has announced the 2018 winners of the Bob Carey Memorial Award. The Carey Award was instituted in 1996 in honor of long-time Lander High School coach Bob Carey. Coach Carey was the only coach in Wyoming to have won both a boys' and girls' State championship in basketball. He was also instrumental in starting girls' basketball in the state of Wyoming.     WORLAND – Washakie County Commissioners met Tuesday, to facilitate an optional sales tax meeting. On Jan. 16, the commission originally facilitated a meeting with members currently covered under Joint Resolution 315, which splits one-cent sales tax funds, along with new parties interested in becoming sales tax recipients, in light of the state’s waning budget.
