WORLAND – The Culbertson bridge crossing the Big Horn River in Worland will be closed Monday for an annual inspection by the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT). POWELL (AP) — A state legislator from Cody has been fired from his job as Park County’s deputy prosecutor after sending a series of profane and belittling texts to a woman being prosecuted by his office. Republican Rep. Sam Krone says he was notified of his firing by Park County Attorney Bryan Skoric on Feb. 24 during the legislative budget session, which ended last week in Cheyenne. LARAMIE (AP) — Court records show that five Wyoming basketball players suspended for the remainder of the season last week have been cited by campus police for marijuana use. The Laramie Boomerang reports that Hayden Dalton, Morris Marshall, Andrew Moemeka, Justin James and Austin Conway were cited March 3 with use of a controlled substance. Eddie Yarbrough came to the University of Wyoming as a linebacker and he may leave as one as well. In the early morning hours of March 9, 2016, John A. "Jack" Hendrickson, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper. On December 21, 1926, Jack was born in Cowdrey, Colorado. He was raised in North Park, Colorado and graduated from Jackson County High School in Walden in 1944.
