    UW asks for self-quarantines after travel LARAMIE (WNE) — In an email sent to University of Wyoming employees and students Wednesday evening, UW Acting President Neil Theobald asked members of the campus community to self-quarantine for 14 days after traveling to any areas where a “state of emergency” has been declared.     Wyoming’s First Coronavirus Reported Lab testing at the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory has identified the first known case of a state resident with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH). Dr. Alexia Harrist, state health officer and state epidemiologist with WDH, said the patient is an adult female from Sheridan County with some recent domestic travel history.     The Northern Wyoming News has received a report from Worland High School Activities Director Mark Mortimer that the 3A/4A State Basketball Championships have been cancelled. The Wyoming State Speech Meet has also been cancelled. Per the Wyoming High School Activities Association website, "The 3A/4A State Basketball Tournament and State Speech have been cancelled.     The University of Wyoming has extended its spring break by one week in response to concerns about the novel coronavirus COVID-19.     BIG HORN COUNTY — At 11 p.m. Thursday night, Big Horn County Health Officer has issued a LEVEL 2 health alert.
