    Alex Kuhn, Sports Editor|Oct 16, 2018

THERMOPOLIS - The match was tougher than expected but the result was exactly to the Hot Springs Lady Bobcats volleyball team's liking as they defeated the Newcastle Lady Dogies Friday 3-2 (20-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-13) at Newcastle High School. "I'm super proud of the girls and they did a great job. They could have self-destructed in that third set but they were much better the next three games," said HSCHS volleyball coach Shannon Hill. Tracie Mitchell, Staff Writer|Oct 16, 2018

WORLAND – Despite the fresh fallen snow and colder temperatures the Worland-Ten Sleep Chamber of Commerce is pleased with the turn-out for this year’s 23rd annual Hunter Fest and deemed the event a success. According to Worland-Ten Sleep Chamber of Commerce board member and event organizer Bill Fuchs the event usually generates about 500-600 event goers. This year the number of event goers was around 300 with hunters and vendors alike not being able to make it due to the inclement weather. The cold and snow encouraged people to sample the man...

Voters can still register to vote until Oct. 22, but after that date, all new registrations must vote on the same...

Ramsey Scott, Wyoming Tribune Eagle Via Wyoming News Exchange|Oct 16, 2018

CHEYENNE – Mail-in ballots aren’t a foreign concept to Wyoming. They’re used for voting in special district elections. If an election needs to be run again, mail-in ballots can be used. And 31 percent of voters used absentee ballots in 2016 – what some have called a de facto mail-in ballot. But it’s been difficult for a bill allowing counties to choose to switch every election over to a mail-in ballot system to gain traction in the Wyoming Legislature. For three years, the Wyoming County Clerks Association, including Laramie County Clerk Deb...

February 5, 1969-October 8, 2018 Although Shye liked almost everyone and was liked or loved by everyone, she didn't like or love anyone more than her furry friends, except her Granddaughter Jacelynn, who she absolutely adored. She gained her love for animals in part from her Grandmother Wanda Christensen, who passed in January of this year. Her grandma was instrumental in helping her gain her dual PhD's in "Pets have Drama" and "Pets have Demands," both of which she practiced every day and... Full story
