    CASPER - The track season is underway and for the Worland High School track team they opened up their season to a solid start at the Glen Legler Invitational on Saturday at Natrona High School. Senior pole vaulter Josh Garza was the team's only automatic qualifier for the 3A State meet in Casper May 17-19.     Man killed in Casper, suspected shooter not arrested CASPER (AP) — A 49-year-old man was shot and killed in Casper over the weekend and police say the shooter has not been arrested. Sgt. Mike Ogden tells KTWO-AM that Sunday afternoon’s shooting remains under investigation. The victim’s name has not been released. Ogden says several people were involved in the incident, but he would not confirm whether a fight occurred before the shooting. He says officials know who the shooter is, but he is not in custody.     WORLAND — Mentor, passion for Worland, detail-oriented are a few of the words that colleagues used to describe former Worland Mayor Dave Duffy who passed away Friday in Billings. Duffy served on the city council before being elected for a four-year term as mayor, serving from 2013-2016. Worland Clerk/Treasurer Tracy Glanz said, “He was a great mentor to me and a good friend.     David M. Duffy, 68, passed away on March 16, 2018 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana. David was born on January 17, 1950 to Roland E. "Ted" and Julie A. (McConnell) Duffy in Laramie, WY. Before graduating from Laramie HS in 1968 he attended schools in Douglas, Torrington, and Laramie. After attending the University of Wyoming, he began working for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph. In 1976 he married Sheila McCoy in Laramie.
