LARAMIE -- The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has selected a firm to install video boards, ribbon boards, scoreboards and audio systems for two athletics facilities. Because of the planned expansion of the Rochelle Athletics Center into the Mick and Susie McMurry High Altitude Performance Center, the existing video board at the north end of UW’s football stadium will be removed. WORLAND — The Worland gymnastics team, the 307 Twisters, competed with over 300 other gymnasts last weekend at the state meet in Gillette, which resulted in the best outing to-date for the program, including a regional qualifier, Hailee Hunter. To start with all 15 girls on the team qualified for the state meet, unfortunately one could not compete at state due to an injury. Lifelong Worland resident Shauna Carol Rohrer passed away on March 20, 2016 following a long and gallant struggle with cancer. Shauna was born on January 27, 1950 in Worland, a daughter of Francine (Baston) and Carroll O. Daugherty. Shauna was raised in Worland and attended school here, graduating with the Class of 1968.
