WORLAND – The Wyoming FFA Association has announced the recipients of the 2018 Wyoming State FFA Degree, the highest award the state can bestow on its members. A total of 194 members representing 45 Wyoming FFA chapters earned the degree. These members will receive their degrees on April 19, as part of the Wyoming FFA Convention, held in Cheyenne each year. CHEYENNE (WNE) – Great Lakes Airlines suspended all flight operations at midnight Monday. It was Cheyenne’s only air service carrier. The Cheyenne-based airline announced on its website and Facebook page Monday evening that all future scheduled flights are canceled effective immediately. The company has not declared bankruptcy, though. Jill Ann Soetmelk (Vang) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, March 24th, 2018 at her home in Worland, Wyoming. Jill was born on November 29th, 1968 in Casper, Wyoming to Judy (Bader) of Ten Sleep, Wyoming and Clayton Vang of Wolbach, Nebraska. She was the youngest of their four children.
