    WORLAND - Since weather canceled last week's meet in Buffalo the Worland High School track team is ready to go for Saturday's meet in Powell, after the extended layoff. "We had practice but it was crazy because we were in shorts and T-shirts and were wishing we could have hosted it.     CHEYENNE – State education officials are forging ahead with efforts to offer computer science to every student in Wyoming. The Wyoming Department of Education on Monday announced the creation of Boot Up Wyoming 2022, an initiative to facilitate the addition of computer science to K-12 curricula.     WORLAND - The Washakie County Commission hosted a review of the results of a recent tax survey on Tuesday, to help determine the best use for the general purpose one-cent sales tax for 10 county entities eligible for the funding.     WORLAND – The 2018 Gift of the Waters Pageant will be held this year but its future depends on the generosity of the community, with their time and money.     Skip, W7PN, is now a silent key. Karl "Skip" Errol Prinsen, Sr. died on April 1, 2018 at the Washakie Medical Center in Worland, WY from the effects of dementia. He was born February 5, 1942 in Gardner, Massachusetts, the oldest of four children born to Raymond E. and Martha (Locke) Prinsen. He grew up in Springfield, Vermont graduating from High School in 1960. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed on the USS Enterprise during the Vietnam War.
