    WORLAND- The Worland Warrior track team will host the D & D Invite for their first and only home meet of the season today. Competing along with Worland today will be Powell, Rocky Mountain and Thermopolis. This will be the third meet of the year for the Warriors, with the two previous meets in Cody and Buffalo. Cal Ripken The Worland Cal Ripken baseball team has been practicing for weeks now in preparation of the season. Their first tournament will be on May 13-14 in Pocatello, Idaho.     WORLAND – Worland Mayor Dave Duffy met with two Aeronautics Division employees from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and they told him Worland was left off the list of request for proposals for essential air service that had recently gone out.     TEN SLEEP - The Ten Sleep Town Council held their monthly meeting Tuesday evening, and discussed a proposal by Ten Sleep Brewing Company to dispose of wastewater, created by the brewing process, in the Ten Sleep lagoon. The brewery, established in 2013, currently disposes of their wastewater (a highly concentrated mixture of beer byproduct) in a containment pond on brewery property for evaporation.     WORLAND — The 2016 Worland High School Honors U.S. History Class recently completed their annual field study to Washington, D.C. the week of March 21-26. Teacher Randy Durr said this is the 17th trip he has taken with students in his classes, both in Montana and Wyoming. Students raised all the funds for the trip, approximately $1,895 for each student for a total cost of $51,940.     WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man with a tattoo of Florida on his face is facing burglary charges. The Palm Beach Post reported Wednesday that 25-year-old Johnathan Hewett is jailed without bond. He has a map of Florida tattooed on his left forehead and temple. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Hewett is seen on surveillance video prying open the door of a home last month. Officials say he took a gun and two watches.
