Unofficial results from Tuesday’s General Election showed Washakie County School District No. 1 Board incumbents Brett Argeris and David Tommerup keeping their seats as four-year term members. First-term incumbent Jonathan Hake was unseated by newcomer Becky Dooley. Tommerup, who has served as chairman for multiple terms, received the most votes with 2,165. On October 23, 2024, Milly Bilderback, age 71, peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord. Born on February 3, 1953, in Jackson, Oregon, Mildred (Milly) MacEachern was the beloved daughter of Claire and Robert MacEachern. Milly's journey led her to Canada, where she married and welcomed her two children, Jenna Kadatz and Steven W. Kadatz. Dahl Judy Mills left this earthly existence on November 3, 2024, at Broken Back Ranch north of Ten Sleep, at the age of 91. Dahl was born on August 5, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the 2nd of five girls born to William Lavern Judy and Bessie Rachel Jameson. Her oldest sister, LaJean, born and died on the same day in 1931 leaving Dahl to grow up as the oldest living daughter. The three area state legislators were re-elected following Tuesday’s general election. State Sen. Ed Cooper (R-Ten Sleep), State Rep. Martha Lawley (R-Worland) were unopposed and Rep. John R. The Worland Lady Warriors fell short of extending their season another week, going 0-2 at the 3A West regional tournament in Powell on Nov. 1-2. The Lady Warriors nearly pulled the upset of the tournament in their first-round matchup against the 2-seed Powell Lady Panthers.
