    WORLAND — The National Weather Service in Riverton will teach a Severe Weather Spotter training class to increase the number of weather spotters in Washakie County and surrounding areas.     WORLAND – The Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees received good news and bad news regarding health insurance costs. At a special work session Monday night, Business Manager Jack Stott said the increase the district would have faced was 6.5 percent, about $200,000, which was better than the $300,000 they had estimated.     WORLAND – The Washakie County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 board met Monday to announce a new manager, and review upgrades to the facility. Mike Siegfried, of Worland, replaces previous manager Gene Claime, who died in March. “So far, everything seems to be going smoothly,” said Siegfried during his report to the board of directors.     In order to ensure statewide emergency communications and alerting capabilities are functioning properly, the NWS will issue a test Tornado Warning for the entire state today at 1030 a.m. Broadcasters and public safety alerting points across Wyoming will be participating in the test.     Robert James Busch, 75, passed away on April 4, 2017 at his home. He was the second of five children born to Andrew and Henrietta S. (Potts) Busch. Robert dropped out of high school to join the US Navy in March of 1962, serving until March of 1968. He worked most his life as a truck driver, being employed by Geis Trucking, Harry Swing, Dan Brown Trucking among others. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Judy Kay and Mary Paxton.     Robert C. Boltz died peacefully at his son's home on April 4, 2017. He wanted to be remembered as an honest man, who tried his hardest to help whomever he could. Bob was born and raised on a family farm in Belfield, ND on July 18, 1930. He was the 14th out of 16 children to German and Irish parents, Nicholas John and Mary Carey Boltz.     William Richard Bowling passed away on April, 4th 2017, surrounded by his immediate family after a brief battle with cancer. Bill was born on June 13th, 1937 in Omaha, NE to Roy J. and Frances K. Bowling. The family later moved to Cody, NE where he lived until graduating high school in 1954.
