    THERMOPOLIS – A continuance was initiated Monday afternoon in Hot Springs County District Court for the sentencing of a Thermopolis man.     BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — More than 5,000 prospective students have mistakenly been notified by email that they’ve been accepted into an upstate New York university.     JACKSON (AP) — A Wyoming school has canceled a planned appearance by a Christian abstinence advocate after an outcry from parents.     Dorothy Ellen (Lipps) Lofing, 82, longtime Worland resident, passed away on April 15, 2016 in Billings, Montana. Dorothy was born November 26, 1933 in Wheatland, Wyoming to John and Anna Marie (Kammerzell) Lipps. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1951. She married Robert L. Lofing in August of 1952.
