    JACKSON- The Lady Warriors and Warriors soccer teams were both defeated by the Jackson teams in Jackson Saturday afternoon. The Lady Warriors battled with the Lady Broncos for all 80 minutes. Matching them goal for goal and at one point had the lead. But a few defensive miscues led to Jackson scoring twice in the match's final 10 minutes for the 5-3 final score.     WORLAND- History was made on Saturday, April 23 as the Worland Middle School Braves soccer teams hosted their first soccer matches against Gillette's Twin Spruce and Sage Valley middle schools. For their first game the Lady Braves tied 6-6 versus Twin Spruce and held the lead for most the game until in the final minutes of the match when Twin Spruce snuck in two goals for the tie.     CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead said Monday he will meet this week with the directors of the largest state agencies to address how to implement budget cuts he’s ordered in response to falling energy revenues. Mead told The Associated Press that reductions in state agency workforces are possible, but he said they haven’t been determined. “We want to be on certain ground on a process going forward before we sent out any sort of notice on what we’re doing,” he said.     WORLAND — A preliminary budget was approved at Monday night’s Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees meeting. Superintendent David Nicholas reminded the board, “You are not approving a budget. You are approving a preliminary budget.” He said there would be less revenue in model funding and they have to make that work with an always increasing budget.     WORLAND – Many Worland area residents woke up Saturday morning without power due to a single-car accident that caused power to be out for about six hours and also resulted in a suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol arrest.     WORLAND – The Northwest College Learning Center at the Worland Community Center Complex partnered Saturday for a raised bed gardening workshop with 11 students from Washakie and Hot Springs counties participating. The four-hour free class was led by County Extension educator Caitlin Youngquist and Worland building Inspector Nick Kruger.     Richard (Rick) Duane Garnhart, 68, of Ten Sleep Wyoming passed away Thursday, April 21st at home following a recent diagnosis of Melanoma. Rick was born in Butte, Montana to Betty Reynolds and Richard Skanse on February 13, 1948. Rick was adopted soon after and raised by the late Gilbert and Jewell Garnhart.
