WORLAND — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Wednesday announced a settlement with Enid, Oklahoma-based Cottonwood Creek, Inc. in which the company agreed to pay a $170,000 penalty to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Water Act related to oil pollution at the Bonanza Station in Big Horn County. WORLAND — The Antelope Butte Foundation is holding a summer music festival to help benefit the re-opening of the ski area July 17-19. WORLAND — Washakie County School School District No. 1 Board members approved placing outboard cameras on the district’s school buses at its Wednesday meeting. The decisions is the result of legislation passed during the 2014 Wyoming legislative session. WORLAND – For the second year in a row, Worland’s Cal Ripken 10-U baseball team will be representing Wyoming at the Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament after winning the state tournament held in Worland last weekend.
