    TEN SLEEP - The Ten Sleep Lady Pioneers had their first track and field state qualifier last week when Isabelle Fox punched her ticket to the 1A State meet at the Buffalo Invitational Twilight meet on April 28 in Buffalo.     SHERIDAN — The Bighorn National Forest will soon act on dispersed camping solutions brought forward two years ago by the Big Horn Mountain Coalition Dispersed Camping Task Force.     Annabelle "A.B." Word, 81, of Kirby, died April 27, 2022, at 05:39 in Casper Medical Center after battling a long illness at home. Her husband and collaborator of 28 years, Barrie Lynn Bryant, was holding her hand when she died. A.B. was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Little Rock, AR.     Gary Allen Robbins, 80-year-old Worland resident, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Gary was born on August 12, 1941 in Powell, Wyoming to Bain Lagard and Elenore "Noni" (Hiemer) Robbins. While growing up he attended school in Powell, graduating from Powell High School in 1960.     Delores Jean Wiley, 84, passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Worland on April 28, 2022. She was born June 7, 1937 in Worland, Wyoming. She was the second of four children born to John William and Rosa Alberta (Reed) Paxton. Growing up on various family farms, she spent many hours with her cousins whom she loved dearly.     WORLAND — Washakie County voters will be asked to weigh-in on a one-fourth of a cent general purpose sales tax that will be used for funding ambulance services in the county. For the past eight years, when voters have supported the one-cent general purpose tax, Washakie County has not received funding from the distribution.     WORLAND — The Washakie County Commissioners launched the survey asking residents to rank the eight entities seeking the continuation of the one-cent general purpose tax. The survey is available online or in this week’s issue on A11. Surveys must rank all eight entities or they will be invalid. Surveys must be completed and turned in by 5 p.m., May 20.     Four years ago in this space I asked residents to partake in the survey regarding the one-cent sales tax. There were under 400 responses for the survey. This year I appeal to potential voters to again partake in the survey. There are two important questions facing the county this year, whether to continue the one-cent general purpose tax and assist eight entities throughout the county; and whether to support a new quarter of a cent (one-fourth of one penny) to fund the county ambulance services.     WORLAND – Two employees from Diesel Pickup Specialists (DPS) in Worland have been teaching three automotive classes since the beginning of the school year, all of which have proven to be successful. DPS owner Mike Baugh and lead technician Josh Keller offer three classes at the high school. The first class is Auto One.
