    WORLAND — A Worland teenager sustained “minor to no injuries” in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning. Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Erin DeVries said at milepost 170, at about 7:26 a.m., about four miles north of Worland on U.S. 20, Emily Wheeler, 18, of Worland was northbound in a black Volvo. DeVries said Wheeler pulled to the right to make a u-turn and go southbound. “She did not check for traffic,” DeVries said.   • 'Adopt an Event' recycling program comes to county

    WORLAND – To boost recycling efforts in Washakie County, a group of community leaders took the initiative and ordered a dozen, portable recycling bins for area events, to be used by anyone that would like to help the recycling effort. Working collectively, the Washakie County Conservation District and city of Worland purchased the bins (six for aluminum cans and six for plastic bottles) at a cost of $130 each.   • Railroad crossing closure continues

    WORLAND — The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced early Wednesday afternoon that the railroad crossing at Fifth and Big Horn Avenue/U.S. 20/Wyoming 789 would continue through today. The closure at the intersection began Tuesday to repair the railroad crossing by BNSF Railway. WYDOT was also going to complete a project to smooth out the crossing at the same time.     WORLAND — A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout June.
