    NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stocks gave up some early gains to finish lower Wednesday as energy companies sank with the price of oil and weak quarterly reports weighed down technology companies.     WORLAND – A Ten Sleep child was recently bitten by a rattlesnake causing community residents to urge others to learn about rattlesnake awareness and avoidance. “A young girl from Ten Sleep was bitten by a rattlesnake Monday. She was life-flighted to Billings and is in stable condition in the ICU (intensive care unit),” Ten Sleep resident Sam Funk said.     WORLAND - Worland's Karsten Simmons has been 'en fuego' on the golf course lately. The 12-year-old golfer had a hole-in-one on hole No. 3 at the Green Hills Golf Course Friday during the Deboyna tournament. Simmons wasn't done with the hole-in-one. He's also competing in the Wyoming Junior Golf Tour and on Monday and Tuesday there was a tournament at the Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan.     CHEYENNE – Wyoming Governor Matt Mead is pleased with U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl’s decision in favor of Wyoming over the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) hydraulic fracturing rule. Wyoming’s challenge to this rule was joined by North Dakota, Utah and Colorado. The BLM rule is outside the scope of BLM’s jurisdiction.
