WORLAND — The Washakie County one-cent general purpose tax committee met last Thursday to discuss the survey results and decide percentages for each of the eight entities seeking funding if voters continue the tax in November. WORLAND — The first-ever fly-in at Worland Municipal Airport, at least in recent history, will be this Saturday hosted by the Worland Flying Club and sponsored by the City of Worland and Sky Aviation. Fire and law enforcement are by law essential services, meaning counties and municipalities must provide those services. What is not an essential service is emergency medical services. Mary Buchanan, 79, beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on May 26, 2022. She entered this world on September 6, 1942, in Worland, Wyoming, born to Frank and Jeanne Copp. She married Neil Buchanan on October 26, 1969. They were married 41 years until Neil's death in 2010.
