    Jul 15, 2017

Reunions, people love them or hate them. I truly enjoy family reunions, but to be honest I have yet to attend any of my class reunions. The difference? Good question and I'm not sure I have a great answer except that I truly did not like high school and am OK with moving beyond high school and not looking back. Alex Kuhn, Sports Editor|Jul 15, 2017

During the week NFL defensive tackle Terrance Knighton sent out a few tweets complaining that Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady should be making more than NBA players James Harden and Stephen Curry, who both signed massive extensions this NBA offseason. The BLM received a call about a young foal that was not d...

This year, t...

  • Modest gains push US stocks indexes to record highs

    Jul 15, 2017

(AP) — Gains by big technology and health care companies pushed U.S. stocks modestly higher Friday, lifting several major indexes to new highs. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index, Dow Jones industrial average and Russell 2000 index of smaller-company stocks each set records as the market posted its third straight day of gains. Energy companies helped lift the market as crude oil prices rose. High-dividend stocks like real estate companies and utilities also posted big gains following a drop in bond yields. The lower yields and a weak forecast fro...
