    WORLAND - Washakie County Commissioners will approve the 2015 – 2016 fiscal year budget at their meeting today. Barring no amendments during today's regularly scheduled meeting, the county will pass a $13.3 million budget for the 2015 – 2016 fiscal year. The meeting is slated to begin at 9 a.m. today.     WORLAND — A Casper man pleaded guilty Monday in connection with heated events that occurred at Rendezvous Lounge in Worland. Daniel Jensen pleaded guilty to simple assault in Washakie County Circuit Court in Worland Monday. The original charges stem from an incident involving a hot-headed Jensen and a can of pepper spray.     Longtime Worland resident, John William August, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Washakie Medical Center on July 18, 2015 at age 88. John was born on May 16, 1927 at Farr Camp, Colorado, a son of Veronika Ruth (Beres) and Geza Gus August. He was raised at Cameron and Florence Colorado where his family worked in the coal mines.     WORLAND - Over 100 people attended the Relay for Life event on Friday at Warrior Stadium. This year, the event welcomed a new luminated 5K run/walk/ride. According to Cheri Bundren, 20 people particpated in the event. Six people rode bikes and the others walked. Bundren said three participants will recieve $10 worth of chamber bucks.
