    THERMOPOLIS — The Big Horn Basin Folk Festival, taking place in Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis Aug. 5-6 will feature another great line-up of local and regional musicians.     WORLAND — A utility customer scam that has been circulating for several years appears to have come back to the Big Horn Basin this summer. In 2013, Rocky Mountain Power, in a press release stated that for the past year they have warned customers about a phone scam targeting utility customers throughout the nation, including Rocky Mountain Power customers.     CODY — Precipitation fell over the June Fire Tuesday with more expected over the next couple days. Ahead of the rain, crews completed containment line along the northern perimeter of the fire and worked to suppress small spot fires in the northeastern corner.     CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has diagnosed chronic wasting disease (CWD) in a cow elk that was found dead in southeast Washakie County. The elk was found about 30 miles southwest of Kaycee. The dead elk was part of the Big Horns elk movement study. This study is evaluating the migrations and behaviors of elk in the Big Horn Mountains.
