WORLAND — City of Worland officials are inviting adjacent residents to come to a meeting and listen to how those residents can help “Grow Worland.” Mayor Jim Gill said, “We have this Grow Worland initiative. UPDATE: The 2,448 acre Potter Butte Fire south of Worland is now 100% contained, per the BLM at noon Saturday. The change in acreage is due to more accurate mapping. It burned on BLM, state and private lands. According to Bureau of Land Management Bighorn/Wind River District spokesperson Sarah Beckwith, the fire is located south of Zimmerman Butte near Potter Butte about 19 miles south of Wotrland and 13 miles east of Kirby.
