(AP) — Police in Vermont say a car ended up almost vertical when the driver swerved quickly in response to her GPS ordering her to “turn around.” The car was suspended almost vertically on guy wires attached to a utility pole in Mendon on Wednesday night.     NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks had another day of meager gains on Thursday as investors worked through a new batch of mixed company earnings, including results from Facebook, Ford and Whole Foods.     WORLAND – With rain finally falling on the Big Horn Basin on Wednesday evening, climate records from the National Climatic Data Center and National Weather Service indicate that moisture totals for 2016 are well below the historic average. The record amount for this week was .03 inches in 2012, while Wednesday’s recording was .02 for Worland. The month-to-date total is .08 inches, with a total of 4.13 inches since January 1, .80 inches below normal. Last year at this time, Worland had received 5.65 inches since Jan. 1.     WORLAND – A Worland resident approached the Board of Adjustment and Planning Commission (BAPC) and city inspector about a fence concern following the adoption of the revised Chapter 24 – Zoning of the Worland City Code.
