WORLAND - Guardian Flight emergency flight nurse Keith Van Brunt has been recognized for his work with the Navajo Nation during the COVID-19 pandemic and nominated by a friend for a trip to Africa. Van Brunt said Guardian Flight needed more crews to help in the Navajo Nation and they requested crews. Van Brunt said two Worland crews and one Cody crew went from Wyoming, each serving a week. TEN SLEEP - The Ten Sleep Senior Center earned top honors by the Wyoming Public Transit Association recently, named the WYTRANS 2020 Agency of the Year. WORLAND – The Monster Truck Insanity Tour by Live A Little Productions returns to the Washakie County Fair this Saturday for a two-hour event. Live A Little Productions CEO Skyler Neibaur said the last time they brought the Monster Truck show to the fair was in 2016. Freda Marie Jensen age 87 died, Saturday, July 11, at the Spirit Mountain Hospice House, with family at her side, Freda passed on July 11, 2020. Born Freda Marie Wolf to Fredrick (Fritz) and Edna Wolf, she spent her childhood living on her Grandmother's homestead in Worland, Wyoming. At nineteen, she married Harry Jensen. James "Jim" Hillberry, 83, passed away July 21st in an accident while working in the ranch country that he loved. He was born June 26th, 1937, in Thermopolis to George and Leora (Haynes) Hillberry. He was raised at the family ranch on Gooseberry and attended school in Worland. The family spent summers living in a sheep wagon on the mountain while moving sheep.
