    WORLAND - The rain tried to put a damper on the 2017 Kris Sheaff Memorial Volleyball tournament Saturday morning and failed to do so as the teams and players enjoyed the competition from start to finish.     Lawrence Louis Dean, 83-year-old Worland resident, passed away on July 30, 2017 at the Washakie Medical Center in Worland. Lawrence was born on July 2, 1934 in Worland, Wyoming, second of eight children born to Cecil Adrian and Alice Irene (Brosh) Dean. He received his early education in Kane, Wyoming. The family then moved to Basin before returning to Worland. He met Charlotte May Holdren on a group date at the movies, weeks later on July 22, 1952 the couple were wed in Thermopolis.
