    WORLAND – The first quarter of work has already begun at the Worland Aquatic Center (WAC) construction, and the second quarter for demolition starts today. “By the end of this week all of the exterior brick demolition will be completed and we are going back to starting tomorrow installing the new membrane.     WORLAND – The Washakie County Fair kicked off Monday morning with the 4-H dog show. Four Washakie County 4-H members showed their dogs through a variety of challenges shaped to highlight the students' training and showmanship skills. From sitting and staying, on and off leash, to heeling to for one dog jumping obstacles, the dogs and their handlers showed great skill.   • Hatchery Fire 100 percent contained

    WORLAND – The Hatchery Fire, located about seven miles east of Ten Sleep, is 100 percent contained. According to Inciweb the fire reached 100 percent containment on July 30. While the fire is considered 100 percent contained there are some climbing restrictions in place. “The climbing walls / areas south / down from the switch back areas are still closed to climbing,” Washakie County Sheriff Steve Rakness said.
