CODY — After a day of very active burning yesterday, an infrared flight overnight Wednesday night showed the Whit Fire at 9,647 acres. This fire is burning on both the north and south side of Sheep Mountain approximately 15 miles west of Cody. THERMOPOLIS – Hot Springs County 4-H member Reilly Russell and her 5-year-old orange tiger cat, Zombie Kitty, won best of show Wednesday during the Hot Springs County Fair in Thermopolis in the fairgrounds multi-purpose building. WORLAND – The Worland City Council approved ordinance No. 836 on its first reading, which repeals all of Chapter 12 of Worland City Code pertaining to health and sanitation.
