    WORLAND - With the real games about to start the Worland Lady Warrior volleyball team had a strong preseason showing in Riverton and Powell over the weekend.     Larry was born in Worland, WY, on February 16, 1942, to Roy and Leura Williams. He worked for various school districts as a maintenance man and various other jobs from construction to oil fields. He was raised hunting and fishing in the Big Horn Mountains and that is where his love laid until his passing. He married Joann Reiker on February 28, 1965, in Casper, WY.     WORLAND — The Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees began review of two policies Monday night but no action was taken. Chairman Don Bryant said the policies will come back to the board next month for first reading. The first policy, regarding volunteers, sets up different tiers based on level of supervision.     TEN SLEEP – Every year since 2002, some Wyoming cattle producers have donated calves from their herds to the University of Wyoming’s “Steer-a-Year” program, designed to provide scholarships to UW students from the proceeds of the sale of the cattle. This year, a Ten Sleep donor ranch was named champion when the beef was evaluated after time at a state feedlot.     WORLAND – The "The Great American Total Solar Eclipse" is now a thing of the past and those who participated in the event are left with their memories and at least one pair of eclipse glasses that they will probably never have a need for again.
