    WORLAND – A Worland Middle School student received a flag from a local U.S. Army National Guard solider on the first day of school. During an assembly on Aug. 18 eighth grader Macy Trombley was presented with the encased flag from U.S Army National Guard solider Mitchell Aagard from Worland.     CODY — The Worland High School golf team traveled to Cody for the Cody Invitational on Aug. 25-26 and the Warrior and Lady Warrior golfers logged personal records. Katelin Scheuerman shot a 91 to start the Invite and an 86 on the second day for a 177 total (PR) earning her sixth place. Scheuerman’s teammate, Rachael Carver also recorded a personal best shooting a 246 for the tournament. The Lady Warriors shot 364 and 353 for the tournament finishing seventh.     Former Greybull resident, Thelma Smith left this earth on August 25, 2016 at the Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mount Pleasant, UT, surrounded by family members due to complications resulting from a stroke. Thelma was born on September 14, 1923, to Silas Thales Smith and Elvena Sessions Smith and grew up on Shell Creek, east of Greybull, Wyoming.
