    WORLAND — All politics is local, and the Washakie County Commission is considering working with the Worland school district to bring that message to student-leaders. At its regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, the commission met with Worland High School Principal Kevin Smith.     TEN SLEEP – The new student counselor for the Ten Sleep School is Chawna Weichmann. She comes to Ten Sleep with 13 years experience teaching. Over the years she has taught high school math, been a high school math facilitator, a math instructional facilitator and a counselor.     TEN SLEEP - The new music teacher at the Ten Sleep School this year is Karen Loveland. She comes to Ten Sleep with many years of experience with children. She previously worked for the Shoshoni School system as a music teacher. Loveland is the mother of eight children with six out of the nest and her two youngest attending Ten Sleep School. During her first year of teaching she lived with her youngest daughter in Shoshoni and the rest of her family lived in Indiana.     DOUGLAS — A Hyattville grower took home best of show and champion alfalfa hay honors on Aug. 11 at the 2015 Wyoming State Fair Hay Show in Douglas. Dave Greer, with his alfalfa, won the annual competition, which is sponsored by the Wyoming Business Council. Other champions included Wheatland’s Kellie Hinman for her mixed hay and Yoder’s Bob Baumgartner for his grass hay. David Hinman, of Wheatland, earned the nod for open hay show premier exhibitor.     Marjorie Mae Pebbles, 87, died Saturday, August 29, at Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Care Center after a period of declining health. Born March 7, 1928 in Galeton, Colorado, she was the daughter of William K. and Harriet (Osbaugh) Moyer. The family moved to Newcastle, Wyoming, then Thermopolis where Marge attended Lucerne School and graduated from Thermopolis High School. In 1945 she married Robert “Bob” Pebbles in Billings, Montana.
