    TEN SLEEP – Due to prioritization by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), municipal unlined landfills across Wyoming are facing either mandatory transfer of refuse, or closure.     SHERIDAN – Bighorn National Forest and Sheridan County firefighters responded to a wildfire burning about 2 miles northeast of the Big Goose Ranger Station on Wednesday, September 2. The Rapid Creek Fire burned about ½ acre in lodgepole pine. A Forest Service engine, county engine, and 10 personnel were assisted by a helicopter and two retardant drops from single engine air tankers.
