    LARAMIE – The running back situation for the University of Wyoming may have become a little more uncertain. UW lost senior co-captain and leading rusher Nico Evans to injured ribs early in the third quarter in its 41-19 home-opening loss to Washington State this past Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.     WORLAND — Wyoming ACT composite scores hit a six-year low according to data released last week by the Wyoming Department of Education, but Worland scores were above the state. Wyoming’s ACT composite score in reading, writing, math and science was 19.5, down from 19.7 a year ago. During the 2015-2016 year, Wyoming had the highest composite score at 20.0 during the past six years.     WHEATLAND — The Britania Mountain Fire grew to 32,077 acres Sunday and the fire is 77 percent contained, according to Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team Black press release. The increase in acreage was primarily due to the successful completion of the firing operations on the southwestern and western flanks of the fire.
