    After the great eclipse trip, my next trip (only four days later) was considerably longer, to Seattle, to visit my daughter and her family. Celia and I have five children between us and they are scattered all over the country. The closest one is in Sheridan, then in Logan, Utah.     CODY - The Worland High School girls swimming team had a strong two-day performance in Cody last week. Thursday night the Lady Warriors cruised to an easy dual win against Cody, 116-57, and Friday took second at the Cody Invitational.     WORLAND – Friday evening the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the State of Wyoming announced additional disaster assistance will be available for Washakie County and its communities impacted by the June 7-22 flooding.   • Firefighters respond to wildfire near Burnt Mountain

    GREYBULL — Bighorn National Forest Firefighters responded Sunday to a wildfire in a remote location on the north side of Burnt Mountain in the Medicine Wheel Ranger District. The fire was located about 4 air miles northeast of Porcupine Ranger Station and was two acres on Sunday. The fire, suspected to have been caused by lightning, in burning in heavy timber.     Michael Leslie Bryant, 55-year-old lifetime Worland resident peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father at his home surrounded by his loving family on August 31, 2017. Mike was born on May 21, 1962 to Robert Adrian (Bob) and Denise Lyn (Denny) (Kimzey) Bryant. He was the last baby to be born in the hospital which was located where Washakie County Library is currently.
