    WORLAND — Last year 60 students spent 16-20 hours screen-free as a way to get away from their electronic devices and spend more actual time with family and friends. Screen-free week is a program through Washakie County Public Health that started three years ago. Public Health Nurse Manager Amanda Heinemeyer said, “The ultimate goal of the program is for students to decrease screen time and have more family time.     WORLAND – Washakie County Commissioners moved ahead on two proposals made by the county’s Wyoming Public Lands Initiative working group.     WORLAND - Both Worland High School and Hot Springs County High School got their seasons underway at the Billings Invitational last Friday.     Lois Mae Dietz, 89, was born in Roundup, Montana on a dry land farm outside of Gage. Lois passed away at her home in Worland, Wyoming on September 3, 2018. She was the third and youngest child of Albert and Cora Beckman, born on October 15, 1927. When her sister and brother went to a country school, she would follow along until the teacher finally let her attend school at the age of four.
