  • U.S. 16 pavement improvements to begin next week

    TEN SLEEP — Traffic delays are expected beginning next week when a $1.94 million pavement improvement project begins on U.S. 16 east of Ten Sleep. Prime contractor McGarvin-Moberly Construction Co., of Worland plans to mill/remove 1 1/2 inches of asphalt pavement on the 7.72-mile project. Milling of pavement will be followed with a two-inch pavement overlay, according to Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Dan McAfee of Worland.     POWELL - Worland High School swimmers traveled to Powell Thursday evening in a showdown with the Powell Panthers.
