  • Karla's Kolumn: It Boggles the Mind

    Karla Pomeroy, Editor|Sep 16, 2017

Maybe it’s the rain, maybe it’s the fact I’m taking a few days vacation later next week, maybe it’s because of all the weird stuff that’s been happening, or maybe it’s because that’s just how my mind works but I have a lot of issues running through my head and rather than pick one to write an entire column, I’m going to write snippets. It boggles the mind that four Bostonians would think “Racism is as American as Baseball” would be an anti-racism message. Ask 10 people on the street what that even means and you’ll get 10 different answers. Gu...

  • Warriors can't get it going vs. No. 2 Wolves

    Alex Kuhn, Sports Editor|Sep 16, 2017

WORLAND — There are some games where things don’t go your way, whether it is the other team playing at a higher level, miscues or a combination of both. It’s a frustrating experience and where it feels like you came up a few plays short. That was the kind of night the Worland High School football team experienced as they hosted the No. 2-ranked Green River Wolves Friday. The Warriors battled the Wolves on a cold and wet night at Warrior Stadium and while the scoreboard showed a one-sided game...

  • Hear me out...The 2017 MLB season has been pretty, pretty, pretty crazy

    Alex Kuhn, Sports Editor|Sep 16, 2017

The MLB has quietly gone through one of its better seasons. The ebbs and flows of the season seem to be more volatile than in recent seasons too. At the start of the season the Brewers' Eric Thames was on pace to hit a billion home runs, but along comes Aaron Judge who looks like he'll hit a billion and one HRs, but...
