Graham, an attorney from Sheridan, Wyoming, has been elected president-elect of its organization and will serve as president in 2018-2019. WORLAND — A precipitation record was broken Friday, Sept. 15 when .55 inches of rain fell in Worland. The more than half-inch of rain, broke the previous record of .41 set in 1960. According to the National Weather Service, Worland has 1.02 inches of rain for September, above the monthly average of .42 inches. For the year, Worland has 6.52 inches of precipitation, up .65 inches from the norm of 5.87 inches of precipitation. WORLAND — A new ordinance before the Worland City Council tonight would raise the municipal court automation fee. According to Ordinance 843, which will require three readings before going into effect, the court fee would increase $15 to $35, $10 to be deposited in the Worland Municipal Court fund and $25 to the State of Wyoming court automation fee account.
